Psychologist - Child Psychologist (MSc) - Psychotherapist
Lida Semidala is a psychologist, child and adult psychotherapist. She is a graduate of the Department of Psychology of Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences (2/2005) and holds a license to practice psychology. She is a member of the Association of Greek Psychologists ( SEPS ), the Greek Balint group , which focuses on healing doctor - patient relationship expert and author of the online psychology journal LAPSUS .
She completed her postgraduate studies in Developmental Psychopathology (MSc in Developmental Psychopathology) at The University of Reading, England. Her master's thesis was on the qualitative analysis of interviews with adolescents with chronic diseases (diabetes, cystic fibrosis) who were monitored at the pediatric endocrinology clinic of the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. She has been trained through a series of seminars (Child Psychiatry Clinic of the University of Athens, SEN, EPSYPE, etc.), systematic educational supervision and personal psychotherapy in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and early intervention in infants and toddlers. She has been trained and worked in public and private mental health institutions as a psychologist (eg Adult Mental Health Center Egaleo, Athens Medical School, Child and Adolescent Psychosocial Society, etc.), as well as in the school context providing support to children and teachers.
Today, she works privately providing psychotherapy and counseling to both adults with emotional difficulties, psychosomatic symptoms and relationship problems, as well as children with a variety of difficulties (emotional and learning, behavioral and communication problems, developmental problems) and their families. She also collaborates as an external collaborator with private therapeutic structures, is a lecturer in psychology training seminars and coordinator of parent groups.
